"Hot and Cold Dyening" is a scenic and sonic
proposal that breaks away from traditional
paradigms of artistic representation. Rather than
relying on conventional narrative structures or pre-
established academic compositional methods, this
work is built from the direct, lived experience of the
present moment. In it, situations, characters, and
settings are defined and represented in a literal way;
they are replaced by music’s inherent capacity to
place the listener within the scene.
The audience is no longer a passive spectator but
becomes an active part of the stage, emotionally
and perceptually engaged with what is unfolding.
This integration is achieved through a technique
developed specifically for this work, in which the
composition is guided by the real-time emotional
and dramatic experience of what is happening.
The emerging scenes — often absurd, grotesque, or
seemingly out of context — are a direct reflection of
the emotional states of the protagonists. Boredom,
crying, screaming, disorientation... these are not
symbolic or imitative representations, but genuine
sonic manifestations of inner experiences.
"Hot and Cold Dyening" is, therefore, a work in
which composition becomes scenic action, and
scenic action becomes living composition. It resists
the codification of emotion into recognizable
formulas, choosing instead a radically present,
human, and free experience.
